Fire extinguished at Adele's in Carson City

Cafe at Adele's in Carson City will be closed until further notice to allow time for repairs to damage from a fire Thursday morning. It broke out shortly after 5AM March 28, 2019.

The Carson City Fire Department says crews knocked the flames down quickly and kept the fire from spreading to other parts of the building. Damage was mostly contained to one room, where the fire started, but extended slightly into the restaurant area, according to fire crews.

No one was hurt.

The cause has not been determined.

The well-known restaurant on N. Carson Street and William Street opened in 1977.
