On Sunday Concord police arrested a man wanted in connection to a homicide in Nevada.
According to the Concord Police Department, an officer was on a routine patrol when he drove through the lot of a motel on Monument Blvd.
The officer spotted a car associated with a suspect possibly involved in a homicide that happened in Nevada.
Concord officers verified that the suspect was staying in one of the hotel rooms by viewing the hotel’s security camera footage.
Officers conducted surveillance on the room until the suspect was seen exiting.
He was arrested without incident.
The Concord PD Investigations Division is now coordinating with the Nevada agency on the ongoing investigation. There are no outstanding suspects believed to be in the area associated with this investigation.
