A fun night at a children’s amusement center in Concord last Saturday was interrupted by a dispute that turned into a brawl between nearly a dozen young women and men.
It happened just after 7 p.m. at The Jungle, located in the Willows Shopping Center.
During the fight, someone sprayed pepper spray into the crowd at least twice.
Authorities say children were among the nearly 30 people exposed to the spray.
Some were vomiting and had trouble breathing.
One father said that type of violence is unacceptable, especially around children.
Mike Taylor said, “I would do what I needed to do to protect him, but we would get the heck out of there.”
Police are still combing through surveillance video trying to piece together what happened.
