ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A car crashed into a northwest Albuquerque home early Friday morning. The crash happened around 4 a.m. on Whisper Wind which is near Unser Blvd and Atrisco Dr.
Albuquerque Fire Rescue and Albuquerque police responded to the scene. When AFR crews arrived they found that the car crashed into the porch of the home and started a small fire. Crews were able to extinguish the fire within minutes and contain it to the porch with minimal damage.
According to AFR, the driver was found deceased at the scene. The homeowner was also transported to the hospital to be evaluated.
