Albuquerque police have arrested a man for a violent spree around the city.
Police say earlier this month 19-year-old Edward Peters shot at four men on bikes at the Alamosa Skate Park near Coors and Central.
A bullet fragment from the shooting went into the nearby community center, landing next to a child. Just two days later, police say Peters threatened a woman with an “assault-style weapon” in front of her two young children.
Peters is already facing charges for a shooting at the Los Lunas O’Reilly Auto Parts back in January. Bernalillo County prosecutors are asking for a judge to order Peters to say behind bars until trial for the latest cases.
