Albuquerque police now say road rage led to a driver being shot on I-25 Thursday morning.

Police say the man was shot in the legs after the bullet when through his door. It happened on I-25 near Martin Luther King Jr. around 10:23 a.m.

Police haven’t said what led to the shooting but say they are looking for a Hispanic man with a goatee wearing prescription sunglasses. They believe he’s driving a 2008-2010 dark blue, Nissan Armada.

The public is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (505) 843-STOP to submit a tip.

In November, two other drivers had their windows shot out in the same area, between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Both women say they didn’t see who fired the shot, they just heard a pop and then saw their windows shatter.

Police don’t know if any of them are connected since they don’t have a lot of information to go on.
