ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A water main break was the cause of multiple accidents early Thursday morning.
Lomas Boulevard near Easterday Drive and Walker Drive in northeast Albuquerque were covered in ice because of a water main break. Police say it caused multiple traffic accidents. No injuries were reported.
Lomas has since been reopened, but the residential area where the break happened is still closed as crews work to clear the roadway.
