The Bosque Farms Poice Chief resigned to take a job with the Albuquerque Police Department.
Angela Byrd will be the new commander of the Albuquerque Police Department Academy.
Commander Byrd brings experience from both within and outside of New Mexico.
Her previous experience includes serving as a deputy sheriff in Wichita, Kansas for six years before working in Bosque Farms.
