Authorities responding to equipment fire northwest of Sioux Falls

Crews are currently battling an equipment fire on the northwestern edge of Sioux Falls.

The fire broke out late Tuesday morning near Sand St. west of Ellis Road.

Sioux Falls Metro Communications says a piece of equipment caught fire, and crews were working to stop the fire from spreading. There have been no reports of injuries.
