UPDATE: Initial investigation shows fire at Sioux Falls business is electrical related

UPDATE: Tyler Tjeerdsma, an investigator for Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, said a fire at a restaurant in Sioux Falls looks like it was caused by something electrical.

It started at 1st Wok Chinese Restaurant around 1:30 PM. A passerby flagged down an officer when they noticed smoke coming from the building.

No one was inside at the time of the incident, and no firefighters were injured.

The building sustained heavy smoke damage and moderate fire damage.

Investigators are working to determine what caused a fire at a business that was closed on Tuesday.

Crews were called to 1st Wok Chinese Restaurant near 10th Street and Duluth Avenue just before 1:30 p.m. after a passerby noticed the building was on fire.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue contained the fire, and no one was injured.
