Several injured in Sioux Falls deck collapse

Several people were hurt after a deck collapsed in northeast Sioux Falls.

The deck collapsed around noon Thursday at a residence on N. Solar Drive, near Bahnson Ave. and 6th Street.

Police say an upper-level deck attached to a home collapsed while six people were standing on it. Three were taken to the hospital, but their injuries are not life-threatening.

An infant was also taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The cause of the collapse is still under investigation.
