Hundreds hop downtown for Sioux Falls Easter Egg Hunt

People in Sioux Falls came to downtown for the annual Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt Saturday afternoon.

If you did not get an early hop on your tickets, you would have found out that the event sold out in a matter of hours.

500 kids explored Downtown Sioux Falls for those colorful and elusive eggs, and organizers like Sadie Swier said it is all about having fun.

"I think a lot of people think of downtown just for adults to come and have fun, but it's a great place for kids and families to come out and enjoy downtown," Swier said.

Other communities doing egg hunts included Tea, Brandon, and Brookings among many others.
