A Sioux Falls woman is facing charges after police found drugs in her home, where she was looking after five children.
Thirty-eight-year-old Demitri Dionne Antoine was arrested Tuesday at a home on the 700 block of S. Western Avenue.
Police say they performed a wellness check at the home after a 14-year-old student failed to appear at school.
Public Information Officer Sam Clemens says officers found meth, along with some pills, at the home.
Five children between the ages of 2 weeks and 14 years were also at the home. Clemens said several of them should have been at school.
Antoine was charged with possession of a controlled substance and five counts of abuse or cruelty to a minor.
