SALT LAKE CITY — Police have identified a 63-year-old man who was killed early Sunday morning after he collapsed in the street and a car ran him over.

Gary Lee Kingston was stepping off the curb from the Montego Bay Casino onto Wendover Boulevard when he collapsed and became unconscious for unknown reasons, Wendover police said Tuesday.

A westbound car driven by a 17-year-old struck Kingston while he was unconscious in the travel lane, police said. Kingston was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kingston was near the painted line on the street that marks the Utah/Nevada border, police added.
