A 58-year-old Wichita woman was injured in a shooting in southeast Wichita early Friday.
It happened around 1 a.m. in the 800 block of South San Pable.
The woman heard a knock at the door. When she went to the door, someone outside began shooting through the door. Several rounds were fired.
The woman sustained a gunshot wound to the back. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police do not believe it was a random act, and they do not have a suspect in custody.
