Another man has been found guilty of all charges in a 2017 triple murder in north Topeka.

Jurors announced their verdict after an eight-day trial in Shawnee County District Court.  According to District Attorney Mike Kagay, Joseph Lowry, 32, was convicted of:

  • Two counts of premeditated first-degree murder for the deaths of Matthew Leavitt and Luke Davis.
  • First-degree murder committed during another dangerous felony for the death of Nicole Fisher.
  • Three counts of aggravated kidnapping.
  • One count of aggravated robbery.
  • One count of aggravated assault.

Joseph is the third suspect found guilty for involvement in the murders of Leavitt, Davis and Fisher. Their bodies were discovered in March 2017 at a north Topeka house in the 100 block of Northwest Grant Street. Joseph Krahn previously plead guilty on all charges  in November 2017, and Kora Liles was found guilty of all charges in June 2018.

A fourth suspect, Brian Flowers, will face trial April 19.
