LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A 25-year-old Las Vegas man who was known to rent Ferraris and owned a Lamborghini and BMW is being accused of sexually assaulting a homeless woman.

Police say they received a 9-1-1 call shortly before 2 a.m. Sept. 25, 2019, from a security officer who was monitoring a business on West Charleston Boulevard and Grand Central Parkway remotely and wanted to report a possible sexual assault.

Police went to the business and located a woman who said she had been offered a ride by a man in a white Ferrari. During the ride, the man allegedly asked for oral sex and she said no. When they arrived at the business on West Charleston, she got out of the car. The man also got out and threw her to the ground.

The woman then said that the man assaulted her. However, she refused to go to a hospital for an exam or provide a written statement.

Detectives then met with the security officer to view the surveillance video. The video showed the car pulling into a parking lot and the woman get out. The man then got out and slammed her to the ground, causing her head to hit a parking block. The woman passed out and the man could be seen dragging her to a tree. He was then seen pulling down the woman's pant, removing his pants and assaulting the woman.

The license plate could be seen in the video and police were able to trace the car to Dream Exotics. Their records indicated that the car had been rented to Devon Cervin.

Police contacted Cervin and conducted an interview. He admitted to renting the Ferrari and give a detailed account of his day, but initially denied picking up the woman. He did not admit to having contact with the woman until he was shown an image from the surveillance video. After that, he told police that the woman had take his cell phone and their clothes fell off during the struggle.

Cervin is also facing federal charges, including money laundering and conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.

Those charges stem from an investigation in 2017. A source told agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration that Cervin sold drugs. Agents were also able to locate social media posts that featured photos of Cervin with several pounds of marijuana, glass pipes, and a gun.

Another social media post showed by Cervin featured diamond jewelry, a Rolex, a large amount of cash, and a black BMW.

Upon his arrest, they found THC oil products, marijuana, opiates, $28,000 in cash, 7 guns, a 2016 Lamborghini, a 2014 BMW 428i and a 2016 Yamaha sportbike.
