Las Vegas police say there is an active barricade near Spring Mountain Road and Rainbow Boulevard. Police say they are investigating a shooting involving the department and the incident remains dynamic. The suspect is not in custody. Avoid the area. READ MORE

Police are responding to an incident near Rainbow Boulevard and Desert Inn Road. Rainbow is closed in both directions. Avoid the area. 13 Action News has a crew on the scene, check back for updates.
6 A.M.
North Las Vegas police say a man was shot near Lake Mead and Las Vegas boulevards after he stabbed a 7-Eleven clerk with a sharp object. Police say the man tried to run from the clerk after stabbing him, heading towards a nearby bus stop, but the injured clerk chased the man down and shot him. Officers say the two got into a fight because the man refused to leave the 7-Eleven property. Both men were transported to UMC Trauma with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are still investigating.
The suspect was later identified as 27-year-old Anthony Wright, who was employed by 7-Eleven. Wright was booked on charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of stolen property (gun), and destroying/concealing evidence at Las Vegas City Jail.
OVERNIGHT
Henderson police said a man was found deceased on a sidewalk near Warm Springs Road and North Arroyo Grande Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. No word on how the person died, and it is unclear at this time if officers are investigating this as suspicious.
In a separate incident, Las Vegas police say the intersection at Las Vegas Boulevard and Lamb Boulevard is back open following a serious crash around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Several people were transported to the hospital but are expected to survive. The intersection was closed for several hours while they investigated the scene.
