This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for July 13, 2018.

4:30 P.M. 

State Route 161 to Goodsprings is closed at Interstate 15 due to flooding. 

3:20 P.M.

U.S. 95 near the Nevada-California state line is closed after a mudslide and a train derailment. READ MORE

12:30 P.M.

Las Vegas police's Air Unit found a hiker's body where the Muddy River and Virgin River meet in Overton after the wife of the hiker reported him missing around 6:35 a.m. The man was declared deceased on site.

10:20 A.M.

Henderson fire says an RV caught fire in a storage facility neat Stephanie Street and Warm Springs Road.

The fire did not extend to the facility, and no one was injured during the incident.

5:45 A.M. UPDATE

Police say a pedestrian was walking outside of a crosswalk near Sahara Avenue and Maryland Parkway when they were hit by a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. They say the pedestrian crossed the path of the vehicle, causing the crash.

Officers have confirmed that the pedestrian has died at the scene of the crash.

4:50 A.M.

Roads are closed at westbound Sahara Avenue and Maryland Parkway.

Chopper 13 will fly over the scene around 6 a.m. this morning.

3:17 A.M.

A man was shot in the 300 block of East Harmon Avenue near Koval Lane, police say. When officers found the man, he was suffering from gunshot wounds to his legs. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the area and is still outstanding.
