The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

UPDATE 10 P.M.:
Police say one person is in custody after an hours long barricade near Fort Apache Road and Hacienda Avenue that began shortly before 3:30 p.m. No injuries to report. Roads are back open in the area.

9:40 P.M.
NHP is diverting traffic on the I-15 near Primm due to a suicidal person on the pedestrian bridge at Exit 1, authorities say. Expect major delays. Check back for updates.

UPDATE 6:56 P.M.
SWAT is at the scene of an apartment complex in the 9200 block of West Diablo where a barricade situation remains active. Some people in the building have been evacuated. There are road closures in effect. Avoid the area if possible.

3:56 P.M.
Las Vegas police are currently working a barricade situation in the 9200 block of West Diablo near Fort Apache Road and Hacienda Avenue.

12:04 P.M.
A Nevada Highway Patrol officer has been involved in a crash on US-95 northbound near Horizon Ridge Parkway. The trooper was investigating a crash when a vehicle on US095 hit another vehicle, knocking it off the road and into the trooper's patrol car. The trooper was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
