Here's the latest roundup of restaurant news from around the Las Vegas valley:

1. Jinya Ramen Bar has launched a secret Monday menu at all of its locations. Customers who order Cha Cha Cha ramen made with pork and fish-based broth will receive a free karaage fried chicken small plate.

2. The next Taste & Learn event Jan. 25 at Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar is designed to celebrate the new decade. Wines include Ronchi Verdicchio Casal di Serra 2018, Allegrini Valpolicella 2017, Allegrini, Palazzo della Torre, Corvina Veronese 2015 and Renato Ratti, Barolo Rocche Dell’Annunziata 2014. Menu highlights include poached Norweigan stockfish, stuffed quail, saffron risotto and slow-roasted pork belly. Tickets are $75 inclusive and space is limited.

3. Tickets are on sale for the Booze + Bites Vegan Arts District Tour on Jan. 26. The food and drink walking tour presented by Vegans, Baby, will stop at 5 restaurants. Each spot concludes and alcoholic beverage from beer flights to craft cocktails, plus tons of vegan food to try including a plant-based cheese and charcuterie board from No Butcher, pizza and more! Space is limited to 20. Tickets are $77 per person inclusive. A portion of proceeds will donated to The Cupcake Girls, a local nonprofit that supports those involved in the sex industry.

4. Every Friday is Filet Friday at Twin Creeks Steakhouse inside the Silverton hotel-casino. The special includes a 6-ounce filet mignon, baked potato, house salad, choice of dessert and a glass of wine for $50 per person. Reservations recommended.

5. Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas is celebrating its 16th anniversary this month with a special keg tapping and special menu on Jan. 31. The “Queen of Las Vegas” Frank Marino will host the evening and there will be appearances by multiple local entertainers. The special menu will feature beef goulash, crispy pork shank, and a braised beef roll with bacon.

6. The cult-favorite Pepper Lunch is now open in Shanghai Plaza in Chinatown. The menu features sizzling plates of beef, hamburger steak, chicken, pork tonkatsu, tofu, salmon, and Black Angus rib-eye. Appetizers include calamari, shrimp, oyster, gyoza, and croquette potatoes.

7. Esther’s Kitchen in downtown Las Vegas has added new menu items including rye cavatelli with truffle sausage and ricotta salata topped with parmesan and parsley (dinner, $25) and boar sausage pizza with potatoes, fried rosemary and pomegranate balsamic (lunch/dinner, $15). Weekend brunch adds sourdough pancakes with sliced bananas, pecans, and maple butter birch syrup ($12). New tipples include Roses are Red, Violets are Blue (Bloom gin, dry curacao, creme de violette, egg white and butterfly pea flower); Honey Ryder (Barr Hill Honey gin, house made limoncello, honeycomb and a twist); King Corretto (John Sullivan Whiskey, house espresso liqueur, angostura, flaming sambuca & dry curacao) and several more.

8. Golden Tiki has pumped up its Yacht Rock Brunch on Sundays with $5 Pineapple Mimosas, Banana Nutella ($10) or Bacon Waffles ($11); Gorgonzola and Monterey Jack fondue ($12); and Classic Shrimp Cocktail ($10). Served noon to 7 p.m.

9. True Food Kitchen is opening its first restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip on Feb. 12. The brand’s first ever True Bar, featuring freshly-pressed juices, organic teas and natural refreshers, will also make its debut. The new location will have more than 11,000 square feet of dining space, indoor patio, 2 private dining rooms and an open kitchen. The healthful, flavor-forward menu will rotate seasonally. The Forum Shops location will open with separate lunch, dinner and weekend brunch menus featuring a variety of crave-able, seasonal dishes like the new Winter Immunity bowl, Creamy Tomato Fennel Soup, Fig & Gorgonzola Flatbread, and Edamame Guacamole.

10. David Chang’s Majordomo Meat & Fish is now open at the Palazzo. Chang is the chef behind Momofuku at the Cosmopolitan and the Neflix series “Ugly Delicious.” Menu includes smoked prime rib, beef short rib, macaroni & truffle, pork chops, skirt steak, hanger steak, steamed red snapper, grilled striped bass, creamed spinach, creamy polenta, crispy sweet potatoes and more. Another Chang project, Moon Palace, is open near Majordomo. Moon Palace aims to serve quick, tasty food in a fast-paced environment. Their menu centers around a compact menu of Tastys (sliders), hot chips and the half dip.

11. Shake Shack is bringing back their much loved (and insanely tasty) ShackMeister Burger from last year. The ShackMeister Burger, which was originally created in 2014 for South Beach Food and Wine Festival, as a spin-off of Shake Shack’s take on onion rings. It’s a classic Shackburger topped with shallots marinated in ShackMeister Ale and fried until crispy. It will be available until March 31. The burger will also be joined by a trio of new shakes on their limited edition Classic Comfort Menu, including the Cookie Butter Shake, Malted Milk Chocolate Shake and Frozen Hot Chocolate Shake.

12. Miller’s Ale House near Town Square is offering new lunch specials to kick off the new year. They include chicken enchiladas, Asian salmon spinach salad, pimento cheese & bacon burger and a chicken club flatbread and salad duo. Lunch specials start at $5.99 and offered until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

13. Chef Jose Andres restaurant Jaleo at the Cosmopolitan will begin offering Saturday and Sunday brunch beginning Feb. 1. Menu highlights include huevos estrellados with fried potatoes for $9, a grilled hanger steak with fried egg and potatoes for $22; sautéed rice served with caramelized banana, pork belly and an organic free-range fried egg for $16; a slow-cooked egg on toasted brioche with sautéed spinach for $16; and a grilled sandwich with Jamon, Idiazabal cheese, piquillo and a fried egg for $16. The restaurant will also offer endless sangria for $30 for 2 hours and various cocktails, including micheladas and mimosas.
