After being closed for nine weeks, the Trenton license fee office opened Monday, April 22, 2019, at a new location, 611 East 9th Street in Trenton.
The license office is co-located with the Trenton area chamber of commerce which has sponsored the fee office the past 33 years. The hours remain as before, open from 8 o’clock in the morning until 5 o’clock in the afternoon – including over the noon hour.
Fire and smoke on February 18th consumed the previous location of the Trenton chamber of commerce and state license office while destroying two adjacent businesses. Heavy machinery was seen today in the 600 block of Main street for demolition and
cleanup work at that site.
