SWAT Situation on 6000 block E 22nd Avenue Scene now cleared
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - UPDATE:
Anchorage Police have a suspect in custody following a SWAT Situation in the North Star area.
Eventually, Val Tapusoa was taken into custody on an outstanding felony, officers also arrested Matavale Vevesi JR. and charged him with hindering and resisting.
No injuries were reported and the scene is now clear.

The Anchorage Police are conducting a warrant service in the area of the 6000 block of E 22nd avenue. The SWAT team is responding to the scene and there is expected to be a large police presence in the area for some time.
APD is asking that the public avoid the area until the situation has been resolved.
