A Fairbanks woman was killed this weekend after the vehicle she was driving reportedly careened off the road and rolled into a ditch.
Alaska State Troopers identifed 60-year-old Cynthia Durham of Fairbanks as the driver and sole occupant of the wrecked vehicle.
At roughly 9:20 p.m. Friday night, AST in Fairbanks took a call of a vehicle "driving erratically." That vehicle was later confirmed to be Durham's.
Troopers wrote that she "eventually drove into an embankment and rolled into the ditch" and was later pronounced dead at the scene by EMS and AST.
Details such as the make of the vehicle and which road Durham was driving on were not released. AST said the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
