Anchorage man to be sentenced for the attempted murder of an APD officer

An Anchorage man convicted of attempted first-degree murder of a police officer for a shooting that took in 2017 is expected to be sentenced today.
The State of Alaska Attorney General’s office says Pagopago Lelilio will face a judge today after
Lelilio has been held without bail pending sentencing. He faces a maximum sentence of 99 years in prison for the attempted murder conviction and a maximum sentence of five years for each of the two assault charges and the felon in possession charge.
The sentencing is expected to take place at 2:30 pm.
