Two Anchorage men were convicted Friday for distributing methamphetamines, cocaine, and heroin, and illegal possession of weapons and could face life in federal prison.

The crime occurred in 2017, when State Troopers stopped the two men, Dwayne Dollison Jr., 36, and Kenneth Martin Douglas, 34 outside of Fairbanks along with another vehicle that was traveling with them.

When Dollison and Douglas’ stories didn’t match up with that of the other vehicle’s driver’s, the officers searched that vehicle and found the drugs wrapped in socks and baggies.

They also found firearms and since both Douglass and Dollison had felony convictions, they were prohibited from possessing them.

The trial lasted seven days in Anchorage.
