UPDATE: Names of officers and suspect involved in shooting in Juneau released

The Juneau Police Department released the names of the two officers involved in a domestic violence call that ended in a shooting.

JPD says the officers are Officer Hannah Malone and Officer Thomas McGrann.

JPD says the suspect shot was shot by Officer McGrann and medivaced to Seattle has been positively identified as 29-year-old Juneau resident Christopher Netling. He is still in the hospital recovering.

JPD says when they arrived at the scene, they found Netling inside the vehicle. An investigation revealed he was preventing the woman from leaving the vehicle. Police say he had the woman in a "chokehold."

Netling is facing one count of Assault 2nd Degree Domestic Violence and one count of Assault 3rd Degree on a Police Officer. Bail has been set at $20,000.
