Ever since, officials, family and volunteers have done multiple and intensive searches along the river banks in hopes to find any trace of the young man. The searches also included a helicopter and drones.

Officials believe he was swept up in the cold and fast-moving water.

Ada County says they remain in contact with Canyon County sheriff's marine deputies who are keeping a close eye on the Boise River downstream of Star.
