BILLINGS — A man went the hospital after a car hit him in Billings Friday night.
It happened at 19th Street West and Lewis Avenue around 8:45 pm.
A GMC SUV was heading north on 19th.
After stopping at the intersection at Lewis, the driver went across.
A pedestrian darted in front of the car, according to Billings Police Sgt. Clyde Reid.
The vehicle was not going fast and the driver could not see the man walking.
Reid says an an American Medical Response ambulance took the man to the hospital with serious injuries.
