One Person Injured in Fargo Fire

FARGO, N.D. — Fargo Firefighters battle an apartment blaze that broke out just before the noon hour on Monday.

One person was hurt in the fire, which was reported around 11:40 AM on 12th Street South. That person’s injuries are unclear, but they were taken to a local hospital.

There also appeared to be pets in the apartment.

The older two story building contained multi apartment units.

Smoke and flames were visible on the first floor when crews arrived.

“Crews did call a second alarm here, which brought in additional units to help fight this fire. They did get knockdown within ten minutes. They are going to work through and make sure all the hot spots are out, and then finish that up,” Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson with the Fargo Fire Department said.

The fire department has no estimate of the total amount of damage caused by the fire.
