City of Wichita releases new images from inside Triple-A baseball stadium

The City of Wichita released new renderings of a new baseball stadium in downtown.

Some of the new features include what the ballpark will look like from different entrances on Maple, McLean and Sycamore streets.

They also show a view from the right outfield, a wide stadium shot, a party deck and suites along the first base line, drink rails and even some parking.

Construction on the statdium has already started. The ballpark is scheduled to open spring of next year.

Officials with the team and city will gather at 11 a.m. on Thursday to officially dedicate the stadium's home plate.
