1 critically injured in N. Wichita house fire

Crews in north Wichita fought to contain a house fire in which one person suffered critical injuries.
The fire started a little before 6 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Perry Wednesday evening.
Crews arrived on the scene to find smoke coming from the home.
They searched the home and found one person with injuries from smoke inhalation. Four dogs were accounted for.
The person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The fire was contained to kitchen and smoke throughout. No estimate on the cost of damage was given.
