Man arrested for allegedly robbing northeast Wichita Dollar General
A man was arrested for an armed robbery at the Dollar General in northeast Wichita.
Officers responded around 9 p.m. Thursday for a report of an armed robbery at the Dollar General in the 2000 block of E. 21st St. North.
Employees told police that two men entered the business wearing bandannas over their faces and demanded money.
The suspects took money and an employee's cellphone then ran away from the store.
Officers found 26-year-old Donald Robinson Jr nearby and he was arrested for aggravated robbery and aggravated battery.
Police recovered money and the employee's cellphone.
Investigators are still looking for the second suspect.
Anyone with additional information on the case is asked to call police. The case is expected to be presented to the Sedgiwick County District Attorney's Office.
