Wichita man arrested in fatal stabbing

Wichita Police have made an arrest in the stabbing death of a man in SE Wichita over the weekend.

53-year-old Keith Thurman was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on one count of Second Degree Murder on Sunday.

Police say he fatally stabbed 62-year-old Albert Thomas.

Thuman, Thomas and their girlfriends were at a home in the 3400 block of E. Munger cooking for Easter.

According to police, Thurman and Thomas got into an argument, and Thurman stabbed Thomas multiple times.

Thomas died at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.

Wichita Police are investigating an early morning stabbing that left a man dead.

Police were called to a home in the 3400 block of E. Munger, near Pawnee and Hillside, at around 3:00 Sunday morning.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his forties with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say they're interviewing witnesses as they investigate what led up to the stabbing.

Police have not released any information about possible suspects in the case.
