Person hit by car, critically injured on Kellogg in far east Wichita

One person suffers critically injuries after a vehicle hits them in an eastbound lane of Kellogg at 143rd Street East.
This happened about 8:30 p.m. Friday.
A lieutenant with the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office says the person injured is a juvenile who was trying to cross Kellogg at 143rd East when the crash happened.
The juvenile was listed in critical condition and taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
