Wichita police are conducting a sobriety checkpoint this weekend, running from 10 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday.
Police did not disclose the location for the checkpoint.
If you're stopped at the checkpoint, officers will check your drivers' license, proof of insurance, and seat belt usage. Drivers who don't cooperate or are suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be detained for further evaluation.
Police say drivers should not expect an excessive delay at the checkpoint.
