Whitney: Police make 2 arrests, seize drugs and cash in raids

Whitney police made two arrests and seized drugs and cash Thursday afternoon in raids after a weeklong investigation.

Officers served two search warrants, one in the 200 block of Linda Lee Loop and the other in the 200 block of Cedar Creek Park Road.

Bruce Allen Rechenthin 60 of Whitney, and Joshua Shane Morgan 40 of Wheeler, were arrested and were charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.

Officers recovered methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, Xanax bars and hydrocodone pills, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
