A Texoma man has been indicted on federal charges for a bank robbery in Oklahoma City.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 39-year-old Brandon Scott Newberry of Ada is facing charges for a bank robbery in May.

The indictment alleged Newberry went to the City National Bank and Trust on 23rd Street in Oklahoma City on May 12 and handed the teller a note demanding money.

Law enforcement arrested Newberry three days later.

If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000.
