Staples in Bismarck is closing this month. There is a sign on the doors that states the store’s last day: February 22. We spoke with Staples corporate, they tell us the closure comes almost exactly 20 years after the store opened. They also said they’re seeing a shift towards online purchases, and are taking aggressive steps to make their retail footprint reflect the trends.
