(UPDATE, 7/29/20, 2:00 PM) Sheriff’s officials in Burleigh County say they’re investigating “suspicious circumstances” surrounding a body found in a home south of Bismarck.

Major Jim Hulm says deputies were called to a house on Falconer Drive around 7:30 AM Wednesday for “an unconscious male.”

Officials say they found the man dead when they arrived.

Major Hulm says evidence at the scene prompted deputies to call the Sheriff’s Department’s investigations unit. He says the public is not considered to be in danger.

The Sheriff’s Department asks anyone who lives on or around Falconer Drive with possible information on the incident “between the evening of July 28th and the morning of July 29th” to call (701) 222-6651.


The Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department is responding to what authorities call a death investigation in a residential area south of Bismarck.
