Missouri boy's father pleads for missing son's return

Ryan Jones and his girlfriend Bre look longingly at the Christmas tree they put up in their living room a few weeks ago, without the help of Ryan's six-year-old son, Braedence.

"He likes to help decorate and everything. But, we figured we'd go ahead and get 'em set up for when he gets home," Jones said.

Braedence was at his dad's house on August 3rd, when Jones says Braedence's grandma, Norma Ferguson, came to pick him up for a week long visit with his mom, 30-year-old Aubrey Ferguson.

"He was on a week long visitation with his mother, and sometime during that week, she decided to take off," Jones said.

Braedence hasn't been seen by his father since.

"She's been spotted a couple times at different stores," Jones said.

But investigators say that's only been from security footage after she has left the store.

The most recent sighting of Ferguson was just two weeks ago.

Lieutenant Arlyne Page with the Camden County Sheriff's Office says she was with Braedence.

"The child in the surveillance footage matches his build, his appearance, and the others that are involved are seen with them," Page said.

Aubrey is 5 foot 7, weighing 101 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair, which she may have dyed. There is a warrant out for her arrest on a child abduction charge.

The sheriff's office also says 41-year-old Woodrow Ziegler - who Ryan says is Aubrey's boyfriend - is being looked for. He's 5'10, weighing 250 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

"I really don't know him," Jones said. "I know he is in the parenting plan - he specifically is in the parenting plan to not have any contact with Braedence because of prior drug history."

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an endangered advisory for Braedence in October, two months after he was last seen.

Jones and Ferguson share custody of their son, but Braedence lived with Jones after he tested positive for marijuana at just eight-months-old.

Jones says Ferguson was charged, but that charge was dropped.

"We do have legitimate reasons to be concerned," Page added.

"We're just ready for this to be over," Jones said. "I don't know if Aubrey and Norma think this is some game, but this is just ridiculous at this point."
