Woman hit and killed on U.S. 65 in Springfield, Mo.

A woman is dead after a pickup hit her on U.S. 65 near Division Street.

Police tells us the woman in her 20's stepped into the southbound lanes just before 8:00 Sunday night.

Police don't know why she walked onto the highway. Her name hasn't been released.
