Officers in Lancaster have arrested a man on suspicion of supplying Class A Drugs.

Lancashire Constabulary officers attended a house in Shakespeare Road yesterday (May 17), discovering a large quantity of suspected crack cocaine within the property.

Police say the illicit drugs were in the process of being cut and prepared into individual deals, ready to be sold on the street.

A 20-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of Possessing Class A Drugs with Intent to Supply after the raid in Lancaster.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: "This is yet another example of out-of-area criminals who think that they can come to our city and flood it with drugs.

"Wrong. You are not welcome in our city, we will find you and we will continue to target you until you leave our area."
