LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Community Foundation of Louisville Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Trisha Finnegan has been selected for the Center for Community Investment at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy’s 2020-21 Fulcrum Fellowship.
This rigorous, year-long leadership development program brings together 16 current and emerging leaders from a range of fields across the U.S. who are committed to using community investment to tackle challenges associated with racial inequities and economic marginalization.
The program is designed to provide participants with the racial equity, community investment and adaptive leadership skills they need to support critical efforts in housing, philanthropy, and economic and community development. Participants will take part in monthly “coaching calls,” in-person seminars and other leadership development and mentoring activities.
Finnegan was chosen for her commitment to developing and extending partnerships and leading systems-level solutions to address racial inequity. During her tenure at the Community Foundation of Louisville, she has set a clear vision to extend the foundation’s impact, attract capital, and increase visibility. She has also aligned the organization’s mission-related efforts with its principles of diversity, equity and inclusion, measurably changing the demographics of its grantees, fellowship and scholarship recipients and award winners. She has innovated a wide range of processes and programs, established and extended key relationships, and elevated the foundation’s overall community engagement and investment efforts in the area of racial and economic equity.
