Lansing Storytellers Project

On March 19, the Lansing Storytellers Project once again delves into reasons why we '#LoveLansing' – follow up to our inaugural event in 2015 where you'll hear stories of people who live, work and play right here in Lansing.

This event features professionally coached, local storytellers of all ages sharing stories from their real lives. Tickets are $12 per person in advance; $15 at the door. Now with two shows in one night. It is important that you arrive early to ensure a good seat!

Showtimes are:

  • 6 p.m. – doors open for advanced seating at 5:30 and general admission at 5:45
  • 8 p.m. – doors open for advanced seating at 7:30 and general admission at 7:45

For this event we return once again to the Lansing Brewing Company, located in the Stadium District, with a full menu of sandwiches, pizza and more – not to mention award-winning craft beers and housemade spirits. Visit Lansing Brewing Company for a full look at the menu.

Everyone in the community is welcome; LSJ Insiders will receive a free gift at the event (Note: No need to download a coupon).

Visit tickets.lansingstatejournal.com for tickets.

The Project

Lansing Storytellers Project events are part of series of live storytelling events and a national initiative from the USA TODAY NETWORK called The Storytellers Project. Think “The Moth” but a little more local or “Mortified” with less teen angst.

Locations vary, rotating through different parts of Greater Lansing – and have included the Lansing Brewing Company, Gregory's, the Lansing Mall, Old Town Marquee and East Lansing's Hannah Community Center.
