LANSING -- A 42-year-old Lansing woman has won a $250,000 prize playing the Michigan Lottery's Keno game.

The woman, who chose to remain anonymous, matched 10 of the 22 numbers in a Feb. 5 drawing, according to a lottery news release.

Her winning numbers: 07-11-40-66-71-74-76-78-79-80.

She bought the ticket at Kartar Liquor, 6200 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

"I play my Keno numbers every other day and I was getting ready to give up, but decided to buy a few more tickets," the woman said in a statement.

The woman, according to the news release, used a combination of birthdays and random numbers to select her numbers.

She also matched nine numbers on two other Keno tickets from the same drawing last week to win two $2,500 prizes.

Keno is a game that requires players to purchase $1 tickets. They select 10 numbers from 1 to 80 for a chance to win prizes up to $250,000.

Drawings for the game take place at 7:30 p.m. seven days a week.
