Police: Man hurt in crash while fleeing in stolen Pizza House delivery vehicle

VICTOR TWP. — A man was injured in a crash while fleeing police in a stolen Pizza House delivery vehicle, police said. 

The Clinton County Sheriff's Office said officers spotted the stolen vehicle on Meridian Road in Victor Township about 6:30 p.m. Sunday and began to follow the vehicle, according to a news release. 

Officers continued to pursue the vehicle until the man crashed on Round Lake Road while taking a sharp curve, according to the release. He was pinned in the vehicle.

He was taken to Sparrow Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The vehicle was reportedly stolen in East Lansing about 6 p.m. Both Ingham and Clinton counties will be seeking charges against the man. 

Police did not release his name, as he has not yet been charged.
