Police: Man taken to hospital with gunshot wounds in both legs after Monday shooting
LANSING — A Lansing man suffered two gunshot wounds, one to each leg, early Monday morning, police said.
Police found the 34-year-old man in the 2000 block of Williams Street at about 1 a.m. Monday on the west side of Lansing, Public Information Director Robert Merritt said.
The man had gunshot wounds to both legs, Merritt said. Neither injury was life-threatening. Police aren't ruling out that the incident was an accidental self-inflicted shooting.
Statements from both the victim and witnesses are conflicting, and police have not been able to determine where the shooting took place, Merritt said.
