Suspect arrested in deadly Lansing shooting

Police are investigating after a man walked into McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital Friday afternoon with a gunshot wound.

LANSING — Lansing police officers arrested a suspect in the deadly shooting of a 41-year-old man Sunday.

Officers from the Lansing Police Department rushed to the scene of a reported shooting at about 11:36 a.m. at an apartment on the 2300 block of East Jolly Road. Officers found the man dead from an apparent gunshot wound, according to a press release.

Police arrested a 25-year-old man who is now in jail. 

Officers continue investigating, but believe there is no danger to the public.
