Bicyclist in critical condition after hit-and-run crash in Lansing Sunday

LANSING — A 39-year-old bicyclist remains in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Sunday evening, police said. 

The bicyclist collided with the side of a vehicle that was traveling south on Clemens Street at about 10 p.m. Sunday, Lansing Public Information Director Robert Merritt said. The bicyclist was riding east on Kalamazoo Street. 

The driver of the vehicle did not stop after the crash, Merritt said. The vehicle is believed to be a red '90s Pontiac with damage to the passenger side. Merritt said.
